From 2 mists to 6 in a month..
Was that a lot? This month I've crossed out 4 items on the Makeup-Materialist and ended up with more than I expected. I've started on the Boscia set and a few other products but the majority of it has not been opened yet- am trying very hard to finish existing/older unopened products first!

My skin was not happy with the weather change when I got back from my first trip and my face turned very sensitive, red and was pain to the touch. I even broke out in tiny bumps near my ankles and on random spots on my body (later identified as mild eczema). Face mists really helped calm my face and I was using the Caudalie Grape Face Mist (review coming up in September empties) which really soothed the irritation. Since then, I have been on a rampage, getting my hands on mists from various "plant-based/natural" skincare brands.

Am currently using the Boscia, which came in the Clear Complexion set pictured above, as well as the Sukin Hydrating Mist. Among the mists above, the Sukin one is the cheapest, I got mine for AUD9.95 at Priceline and so far so good.

CHANEL polishes are one of my weaknesses as well, and it doesn't help that they have had so many beautiful colours in the past few collections.. but 7 in a month? I've really got to calm down. Everyone has a weakness right? Right?! Mine just happens to be face mists and Chanel polishes...

... at the moment.

  1. I love your haul and I especially love the Chanel purchases. :)

    2. I was quite an impulsive and compulsive shopper, but these days I only buy what I would use!! I am only stocking up for future.. and I dont have 3 big bags full *glares at xc*

The main reason I have this post is also to remind myself of what I have already.. haha. No shopping for a while!! haha

    3. Why are you buying for the future?! Just in case there is an apocalypse in December? LOL!!!

    4. HAHAH No! I stock up cause some products are cheaper overseas!! So at the end of the day, I'm actually saving monehhh HAHA

  3. -_- ur making me want to run to the nearest chanel to buy nailpolishessss

    1. I could say the same about your bags!!! haha

  4. omg so much cool stuff *jealousssss*!!!!!!! i'd love to know how you like the clarins stuff, especially the treatment oil! i started using a facial oil by dr. hauschka which i love! i'd like to try some other oils too, now :D hehe!

    1. I LOVE the CLARINS Lotus Oil! Now that I am using it nightly, I can definitely see an improvement- even my mother and sister can tell my skin is getting better! It's so much calmer and I like it that the oil absorbs easily.

I saw Dr. Hauschka at the local Sephora but I passed because its a bit pricey, and didn't know much about the oils they had. Please share your thoughts!!

  5. What's up to every , for the reason that I am really keen of reading this weblog's post to be updated on a regular basis.
    It consists of nice information.

  6. First of all I would like to say terrific blog! I had a quick question which
I'd like to ask if you don't mind. I was curious to know how you center yourself and clear your mind prior
to writing. I have had difficulty clearing my thoughts in getting my thoughts
out there. I do enjoy writing but it just seems like the first 10 to
15 minutes tend to be lost just trying to figure out how to begin.
    Any recommendations or tips? Cheers!
